The concept of Luxating Elevator is to luxate the dental root easily by incising the gingival ligament unlike elevator that needs more power to elevate dental root. Care needs to be taken to avoid damaging the blades. The tip blades are sharper and thinner than elevator but much more effective than using other extracting instruments.  Handles are designed so minimal force is needed.
