The ProSonic\u2122 air scaler is a pneumatically driven device that generates an elliptical oscillation of the working tips in the sound range (< 6.5 kHz) with longitudinal and transverse movements. It is as powerful as it gets without being an Ultra Sonic, and has been clinically proven to be efficient and gentle with a wide range of uses, including: Hygiene, Periodontics, Minimally invasive caries therapy, Cavity shaping and finishing, Endodontics and Cementation. It features a controlled water spray that prevents the \u201cdrowning effect” often experienced by patients during deep scaling. The scaler is entirely autoclavable \/ chemiclavable, and the tips can also be dry heat sterilized. To further safeguard the operator and patient from cross contamination, it also comes with replaceable tactile silicone grips which also relieves finger fatigue. The ProSonic\u2122 has a slim and lightweight design that permits complete scaling even in tight interproximal areas.
