Flexi-Dam is a non-latex dental dam for use in all procedures where traditional rubber dam products are used. The elasticity of Flexi-Dam is greater than that of latex with a high tear resistance. This product has a textured surface that enhances the grip on the material. The violet color of Flexi-Dam makes for easy identification versus other dam material. It is powder-free and odorless and has a shelf-life of at least four years.<\/p>\n

Features such as resistance to tear, ease of use, flexibility, and \u201csafe for latex allergic patients\u201d received high ratings from consultants. They found the handling, punching of holes and placement of Flexi-Dam to be excellent. The textured surface contributes to the ease of use. It adapts well and has good tissue displacement.
